getting started is sometimes the most difficult part of a fun thing. 'cause you really want to make a good first impression so your friends don't just write you off.
but harder than that was coming up with a name for my blog. honestly, i think i'm pretty funny (well, sometimes). the problem is, for the last 31 years i have been married to fred, who is totally funny; i read katie's blog, which makes me laugh out loud--sometimes with tears besides; and mandy's quick wit makes me laugh all the time. even as a kid, i called my dad the funniest dad in the whole world. my bff, cathy, makes me laugh. she tells a great story, sends me priceless emails, and writes a droll blog!
i'm surrounded by hilarious people. so most of the time i'm not even noticed. but that's ok. at work i'm funny. linda and i think i'm hilarious.
so, my blog should really be called "humor...me?!" but too bad. you can humor me and read, or just ignore me. but you might miss some really great stuff.
it's gonna be a fun endeavor.
